    We are presently in search of an exceptional individual who can work closely with our operators to maximize our labour efficiency. We are looking for a take-charge person who can drive change and deliver results to the bottom-line while at the same time ensuring solid internal customer service. As part of the HR team, you will establish business analytics around how we schedule and overall labour efficiency. You will also be the leader of HRMS-time & attendance technology and have the capability to utilize the system to establish multiple time and labour models. You will also be the key point of contact for our business operators on the use and methodology of the technology.

    Responsibilities

    • Be the technology leader for our overall Human Resource Systems.
    • Initially, define the configuration and support the implementation of a new time & attendance program.
    • Own and develop relationships with business leaders to ensure we maximize efficiency and system utilization.
    • Working with operations, create labour schedule models based on daily revenue and other metrics that ensure “just in time” scheduling.
    • Facilitate revenue forecasting to ensure appropriate labour models are selected.
    • Review schedules in advance to identify any issues and highlight opportunities for improvement.
    • Establish labour reporting metrics and highlight major deviations for each business and communicate key insights for continuous improvement.
    • Monitor attendance trends and report on serious deviations.
    • Continue to bring a high level of input to operators on how to improve labour efficiency.
    • Provide simple methods for business operators to apply changes to scheduling, call-in, shift alterations etc.
    • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
    • Stay abreast of the latest technology, business trends and labour laws that may impact how we utilize or improve our business/systems.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field.
    • 5+ years of associated work experience preferably with maximizing labour efficiency.
    • Solid project management skills.
    • Strong influencing skills and proven ability to deliver results.
    • A critical thinker, strong communicator and problem solver.
    • Strength of character with a bent for training users on technology.
    • A pro at business intelligence reporting.
