    Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, in this newly created position, the Director of Operations, working with a variety of General Managers and their respective teams, will continue to grow and improve all of our  various Falls Avenue Resort Theme restaurants and brewery/distillery pubs ( Rainforest Café, Hard Rock Café, Perkins, Niagara Brewing Company, Niagara Distillery Company, the Terrace Food Court ), Attractions (such as the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark and Adventure City/ iwerks, and retail concepts (The Hershey Store, Always Refreshing Soda Shop, and several general merchandising/ souvenir outlets).

    Responsibilities

    Your focus will be on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of assigned business units specifically focusing on revenue growth, profitability, guest satisfaction, team development, and innovation through formal business plans and practices. Additionally, identify viable new business concepts as required from time to time.

    Qualifications

    • Be a result-oriented professional with a demonstrated track record of increasing revenue and profitability which exceed typical industry standards;
    • Have had previous significant P& L experience including creating and analyzing financial statements and related budgeting /business planning documents
    • Preferably – has been a seasoned, well rounded multi-unit Director with considerable demonstrated success in improving store food, beverage and retail profitability and performance. Previous experience in attraction and retail businesses an asset.
    • Have previous demonstrated business and strategic planning experience, business unit profitability responsibility
    • Have previous experience in inspiring, guiding and developing senior business unit leaders in their operational and succession planning business plans.
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
