Reporting to the Manager of Information Systems the Network Administrator will be responsible for a variety of duties to maintain the company network.
Provide technical expertise and platform leadership in areas of WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN and Firewall technologies. Develop and oversee the adherence to maintenance and performance standards of data network hardware and systems. Develop tactical and strategic plans, standards, guidelines and policies for the network resources. Coordinate change planning and formal change control process to systems in order to eliminate customer impact. Ensure that network hardware devices and related procedures adhere to standard and policy as well as compliance regulatory requirement. Upgrade, installs and troubleshoots networks, networking hardware devices and software. Maintains also an up to date documentation about the network topology and architecture. Establish and maintain operational procedures and practices, maintains network security. Provide after hours and on-call support on rotation basis including supporting the business 7x24x365. Maintain a 2003 Server environment that supports 300+ domain users. Maintain a P.O.S. system that supports 1000 users and 20 retail and F&B outlets. Printer and PC support and repair. Daily backups and weekly testing of data. Responsible for daily reported helpdesk inquiries. Assist in maintaining wireless networks. Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders as part of the incident management process to resolve issues in a timely manner.
