In this senior resort position, reporting to the Director of Conference Services, the successful candidate will be responsible to ensure the responsive, enthusiastic and accurate execution and co-ordination of all the aspects of meeting, catering and convention planning and modifications both before, during and after event takes place. Must take pride in the effective and efficient operational excellence, including anticipating and delivering consistent outstanding guest satisfaction.
Extraordinary attention to detail and good organizational skills in regards to designing and clearly communicating event needs and changes as well as ensuring room reservations, group billings are properly and timely completed. Above-average persuasion skills are required to both creatively explore guest alternatives/options and revenue generating and the ability to maximize revenue by both cross-promotion/sales of related company services/activities/products across the complex is required in the position. The individual will be able to execute and support the operational aspects of business booked by completing guest correspondence. As well as the transfer of accurate, complete, and timely information across the complex in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.
