Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the Conference Centre.

Responsibilities

Establish rapport with clientele and ensuring professional and courteous service is provided to exceed customers’ expectations. Supervise set ups for servicing functions and ensure all equipment and supplies are maintained and available. Supervise banquet employees.

Qualifications

  • Committed to Quality and Hospitality; demonstrated during all interactions with customers and employees providing “simply the best”
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with customers and employees
  • Experience in Banquets
  • Supervisory experience and the ability to team build and motivate staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Detail-oriented, creative, resourceful and energetic
  • Graduate of a college Hospitality/Convention Management program or the equivalent in experience
