In this high volume facility, the Operations Manager is responsible to ensure that enthusiastic, courteous and safe quality of service is provided to all customers. Additionally, the successful candidate will strive to create a venue staffed by knowledgeable, helpful, and cheerful staff who are motivated to exceed guest satisfaction and operating revenue targets.
Create annual and semi-annual business plans, strategies and controls including cost-benefit analysis of equipment, new initiatives, revenue maximization, management and supervisory skill assessment. Recruit, hire, train, schedule and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of all Aquatics, Cleaning, Laundry, Guest Service and Food and Beverage staff focused toward continuous personal development and success. Counseling team members, ensuring all operating equipment and control standards and systems are used; generating applicable departmental reports. Manage projects as needed. Supervise the Aquatics, Cleaning, Laundry, Guest Service and Food and Beverage areas to ensure that operations are effectively, safely and efficiently carried out, while continually looking for ways to improve Fallsview Indoor Waterpark operations in order to increase revenue, decrease cost and provide exceptional customer service.
