    The position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and attractiveness of the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark.

    Responsibilities

    Direct the cleaning staff of cleaning duties on a daily basis. Report to the Cleaning and Laundry Supervisor, and assist with the supervision of the Cleaning and Laundry department. Actively promote a safe and healthy workplace. Act as a liaison with Hotels, guest complaints and special requests. Train and lead Cleaning and Laundry Staff. Coach, motivate and provide corrective actions to Cleaning and Laundry Staff. Responsible for inventory control, purchasing and procurement. Create and maintain staff schedule.

    Qualifications

    • Commitment to quality and hospitality during all interactions with customers and employees
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with customers and employees
    • Demonstrate leadership skills and excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure
    • Must be flexible to work all shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
    • A minimum of one year cleaning or janitorial experience is required
