  • Overview

    This position is responsible for operating the parking department, while ensuring the safety and security of all guests, employees, and the corporate assets of Falls Avenue Resort.


    Maintain order within the parking complex. Ensure a safe and uniformed environment. Supervise and schedule staff. Monitor the behavior and driving conduct of all employees and patrons. Complete daily shift reports and security reports.


    • Demonstrate the ability to maintain professional composure at all times, regardless of issue, while performing multiple tasks with multiple guests/multiple items/products
    • Demonstrate perpetual cheerfulness and extroversion in order to serve each guest, modifying personal delivery as appropriate to different types of guests’ needs, interests and desires (adults, children, couples, cultural, etc.)
    • Management experience in related field
    • Knowledge of the Parking facility, and surrounding business units
    • Knowledge of fire suppression systems particularly dry systems
    • Excellent communication skills when dealing with guests and employees both internally and externally
    • Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively oversee department staff
    • Dynamic interpersonal skills, which motivate and enhance staff/team performance
    • Proven leadership in a team environment
    • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and building maintenance
    • Understands and can work with/build budgets for labour, revenue and expenses
    • Own transportation to off-site parking lots
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
    • Ability to plan, budget, and manage projects and small construction jobs
    • Ability to operate heavy equipment is an asset
    • Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
