Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Resort, and working in cooperation with the Craft Brewery’s BrewMaster , this position will be responsible for ensuring the start-up and ongoing effective and efficient operation of all non-brewery related operations - restaurant, bar, kitchen, facilities maintenance, and retail service teams which support Niagara’s newest Brewery operation through education and demonstrated passion and proficiency to the Craft beer experience.
Create and drive a profitable, efficient and safe restaurant environment where guests are entertained through staff passionate an knowledgeable about the Craft Brewery industry and specifically, the products manufactured and offered by the Brewery. Create and execute annual and semi-annual operations business and financial plans, strategies, analysis and controls, for restaurant, bar, kitchen and retail operations, including cost-benefit analysis of equipment, menus, products/services, revenue maximization, management and supervisory skill assessment. Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule, evaluate and counsel team management and team members in retail, restaurant, bar, kitchen and facilities management operations. Create and executing guest satisfaction strategies and tactics. Apply and ensure all operating equipment and cash control standards and systems are used. Complete inventory checks and departmental reports. In co-operation with the BrewMaster, manages all non-brewery operations in compliance with established resort policies and procedures as well as local, provincial and federal laws and regulations.(eg. Fire, AGCO, Public Health, Health and Safety, Environmental, AODA).
